MOSA - Introduction
Since its initial appearance in the international scientific arena in 2009, MOSA continues to capture the attention of the progressive medical profession in our hemisphere as well as the interest of the educated public at large. Created as a scientific tribune for information, MOSA was designated to be:
"... the forum of Education and Informatic for the Millennium III super drug: Oxygen."
- Dr. Florian Braich (MOSA Chairman and Founder)
The European medical community has helped broaden knowledge throughout Europe of the vast spectrum of oxygen applications and medical studies, thanks to the establishment of several medical oxygen societies on a national level, since the 1960′s and 70′s.
Presently such organizations as the German, Swiss, French, Austrian and Italian Oxygen Medical Societies are organizing yearly congresses and periodical meetings with an ever growing interest and enthusiasm among the medical professionals.
Based on such examples and encouraged by their power of dissemination of information, the MEDICAL OXYGEN SOCIETY OF THE AMERICAS was called into existence to deliver to medical practitioners the increasing knowledge and therapeutic experience accumulated worldwide over the past 1OO+ years, and making oxygen medicine and oxygen technology accessible to the professional throughout the Americas and worldwide.
Thanks to our geographic position at the south tip of Florida, we are confident that the medical professions of both Americas will find our meetings and educational programs centrally located and extremely pleasant to attend. It is interesting to mention at this point that Florida was one of the first states in the U.S. to introduce oxygen technology to the medical community as early as the late 1800′s.
Florida was always a perfect location for international scientific congresses and meetings and presently develops itself to be the ultimate destination for such events. Our weather, geography, infrastructure, vacation-type atmosphere together with the excellent international traveling connections, the proximity to major airports such as Miami, Ft Lauderdale and Palm Beach as well as innumerable outside activities of our State make the attendance of seminars and meetings very attractive for the accompanying families of the participants as well.
For the practitioners however too busy to travel, MOSA is organizing webinars and telewebinars inviting speakers from diverse areas of medicine to present to the interested audience their ideas, experience and commitment to this fascinating technology. We, at MOSA, thrive to invite and introduce to our members the world renowned teachers and scientists; these unique personalities who have devoted their careers and research to achieve the ultimate goal….the maximization and optimization in medical care.
A new medical publication, the Millennium III is planned to appear in the near future as well. Specialists and researchers desiring to publish their experience, results and new techniques referring to their field of expertise will be welcome to participate in this project.
The Millennium III will have the opportunity to inform and publish the clinical trials and data generated by the MOSA Medical Research Institute, a nonprofit organization dedicated to practical application, scientific studies and therapeutic developments in Human Medicine, Veterinary Medicine and Dentistry.
The continuing education and the development of certification courses constitute the immediate project in the activity of MOSA, established as a primordial educational requisite toward and for the benefit of our members.
MOSA hopes to interest and inspire any medical practitioner looking forward into the future of medicine, and extends to them the invitation for membership and the active participation in the MOSA’s role as a tribunal of education, informatic and techniques in promoting the new era… of OXYGEN IN MEDICINE.
